  • NEWS: Cox and Enright Vie for School Board Seat

    Dan Cox, a former television production manager for the Glen Cove Schools television facility employed by WNBC-4 as a videotape editor and an adjunct professor at C.W. Post and Phil Enright, a first vice president of Paine Webber-Mitchel Field with 30 years experience servicing the financial needs of individuals and businesses, are this year's candidates vying for one seat on the Glen Cove school board. The Glen Cove Council of PTAs hosted a "Meet the Candidates" night on Tuesday, May 5, at the high school.     Last week, the parents/guardians of every student in the Glen Cove High School, (there are 920 pupils in the school), received a letter from Superintendent Frank DeLuca and the Nassau County Department of Health with the news that a student in the high school is receiving treatment for tuberculosis.
