Husband of the late Helen. Father of Sara Brown (Duncan) and Ellen Bernsley-Jaffe (Samuel). Grandfather of Hayley and Cameron Brown.

David (Hap, Happy) Kaufman, formerly of Glen Cove, died on Feb. 4, 1998.

Longtime employee of Pall Corp., Glen Cove. Husband of Ida. Father and father-in-law of Herbert and Maryann and Stuart and Mary Ann. Grandfather of Peter, Eliza and Julie. Great-grandfather of one. Brother of George Kaufman and Eileen Masnikoff.

John A. Gentile, of Glen Cove, died on Feb. 22, 1998 in his 92nd year. Retired attorney with the NYS Attorney General's Office, member and past president of the Glen Cove Lions Club, past exalted ruler of the Glen Cove Elks, Fourth Degree K of C member of James Norton Council, member of the Columbian Lawyers Association, past president of the Glen Cove Historical Society, chairman of the Mayor's Committee for Glen Cove Senior Citizens and a volunteer at the Community Hospital of Glen Cove for over 25 years. Husband of Mary. Father of Sandy and Frank Cutrone, Jack and Gerry Gentile. Grandfather of Nicholas, Camille, John, Marisa, Michelle, Anthony, Dana and Janice. Great-grandfather of 11.

Joan Nina Dvorak, of Southbury, CT formerly of Glen Head, died on March 9, 1998.

Born in Floral Park, she was a saleslady at Chic Spot, Glen Head. Wife of Charles. Mother of David (Suzanne) and Andrew (Eleanor) and the late Karen. Grandmother of Erich, Oliva and Benjamin. Daughter of Lillian Kinzel.

Florence E. Marshall (nee Minicozzi), of Locust Valley, died on March 10, 1998.

Wife of the late George L. Mother of Debbie Carbone, Florence Trauernicht and Janice Kruger. Sister of Jane Galasso, Sam Minicozzi, Grace Baker, Willie Minicozzi, Harry Minicozzi, Dolores Pascucci, the late Nicholas Minicozzi and Philip Minicozzi. Grandmother of Michael, Susie, Marshall, Evan, Brad and Matthew.

Assunta Verrelli, of Glen Cove, died on March 14, 1998.

She was a supervisor for Macy's, NYC. Cousin of Constance Koehler, Charles H. and Barbara Leib. Also survived by many relatives and friends.
