Félicitations to the following grade 10 and 11 French students in David Strauzer’s classes (pictured here, left to right with Strauzer [left] and world Language coordinator Peter Giacalone [right]): Dessie DiMino, Elizabeth Rieger, Ally Evans, Alexis Gogh, and Ariella Izzo. They received beautiful certificates of participation and posters from the AATF (American Association of Teachers of French) for an essay contest in celebration of National French Week.
The theme was: “Le français—langue du 21ème siècle” (French—language of the 21st century). Students wrote essays in English explaining how and why French is a vitally important language in this century. A job “très bien fait!
