With spring here, plans are already underway for various events that are scheduled in Garden City. These events are designed for the entire family so be sure to mark your calendar. Some of these activities include: Annual Memorial Day Parade and Fair - service at 9 p.m. Parade begins at 10 a.m. Belmont Street Fair - Franklin Avenue to Seventh Street (6-10 p.m.) I encourage residents to periodically utilize the village's website for information regarding the village's operations, as well as items of seasonal and special interest. One item that is listed on the village's website under the heading of the Recreation Department is information regarding the Recreation Department's Tennis Program. The next board of trustees meetings will be this Thursday, May 7, and Thursday, May 21, at 8 p.m. The meetings are held in the Board Room at Village Hall.
