Sign-ups for next season's Recreation Department Women's Tennis Leagues began Monday, April 6. All players wishing to join can pick up and fill out an application at Community Park.
Current players have the first choice to rejoin their league and must be signed up for next season by Friday, May 8. After this date, openings will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis by qualified players, so get your application in as soon as possible. All new players must attend a tryout (to be rated) with one of our pros before they can play in the league. You do not have to try out for learn and play leagues. If you do not get into the league of your choice, you may sign up as a sub player. There is no cost to be a "sub" and subs are often used. We will do our best to accommodate players; however, there is limited court time and a limited number of openings in the women's tennis leagues. For more information call Steve Espey at Community Park 483-2525. The fee to play is $420 per person for doubles and $430 per person for singles leagues. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time the application is received in order to hold your place.
