The Garden City Recreation Department is once again running its annual Easter Egg Hunt. Our department is pleased to announce that our hunt has been generously sponsored by Flushing Savings Bank. The Recreation Department would like to thank Flushing Savings Bank for the community spirit they have shown.

On Saturday, April 11, at Community Park, three hunts will be held beginning at 10 a.m. with three age divisions: preschool to kindergarten, grades 1-2 and grades 3-5.

Special eggs will be hidden for all divisions. Each hunt will also feature a grand prize (an Easter basket filled with goodies), which will go to the youngster who finds the egg marked "#1 Lucky Egg."

Please note that the hunt begins at 10 a.m. sharp! Please make sure you allow for ample time to park and walk to the site. For further information about our Easter Egg Hunt, call the Recreation Dept. at 465-4075 or Community Park the morning of the hunt at 483-2525.
