We would like to publicly thank the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and First Marines for their blood drive with New York Blood Center (NYBC) in Garden City on Dec. 3. We registered nearly two dozen people and collected 18 pints of whole blood, an amount capable of saving as many as 54 lives. Thank you again DCMA and First Marines for helping the people of Long Island, and for giving the gift of life.
