Lamberti: I Will Not Serve Under Mayor Mauk
Alleging Deputy Mayor John Mauk screamed vulgarities at him during a recent executive session, Deputy Mayor Tom Lamberti told residents Oct. 16 he would not serve under John Mauk if he becomes mayor, which could happen as early as April 2009.

St. Paul's Opinion Poll Taking Shape?
It looks like an opinion poll on the fate of St. Paul's is taking shape. According to Dennis Donnelly, Eastern Property Owners' Association (EPOA) president and chair of the Joint Conference Committee, the poll's wording has not yet been agreed upon but the East and Estates POAs do plan on conducting a poll.

Garden City Community Park's brand new platform courts have opened for the season. This state of the art facility is open for use to any resident of the Village of Garden City every day during the hours of 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Garden City Centennial Soccer News
The Garden City Centennial Soccer Club's fall season has begun. Girls play 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and boys play from 1 to 5 p.m. (with the exception of kindergarten and first grade). The program runs for eight consecutive Saturdays and the season ends Nov. 1.
