Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray joined Team Garden City on the last day of the inaugural Town of Hempstead Boys Middle School Winter Lacrosse League played on the brand new "turf" fields at Seamans Neck Park in Seaford. The town will be organizing boys' middle school and high school summer lacrosse leagues. Interested coaches should call Eric Petrullo at 359-9469.
