The St. Anne's/Holy Spirit Harriers again shined in the Brooklyn-Queens Diocesan Championships recently held at Alley Pond Park. Led by Laurel Fisher (first place) and Jennifer and Stephanie Gerland, the Bantam Girls took home the first place championship trophy. The Bantam Boys led by Bradley Stewart (first place), Jimmy Searson (third place), and Owen Fisher took home the Bantam Boys first place championship trophy. Grace Murolo took third place in the Senior Girls division.

The team also took home first place in the Senior Girls, Bantam Girls and the Bantam Boys Brooklyn-Queens sectional championships. This was a tremendous effort by the team considering that this was only their first year competing.

Thanks Coach Ed and Coach Bob!

If anyone is interested in running with the team next year contact Ed Woods of Holy Spirit at 358-7007 or Bob Schuler of St. Annes at 775-1248. No experience necessary!
