Senior year started with a bang for Garden City High School student Erin Brennan. Recently, Brennan was named the first Citibank-News 12 Long Island Scholar Athlete of 2007-2008. She also committed to attending the University of Pennsylvania and was crowned homecoming queen. FULL STORY

The Tufts field hockey team earned its best-ever finish in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) with victories at Wesleyan and Williams thanks to the efforts of Amanda Russo. Russo, a sophomore at Tufts and a Garden City High School Class of 2006 graduate, scored goals in both games, with one being a game winner, and was honored as NESCAC Player of the Week. FULL STORY
