Alan B. Robinson, an 85-year resident of Garden City, died peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the age of 88 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law in Centereach.

Mr. Robinson was born in 1919 to Alan D. Robinson and Florence Madigan Robinson. He is survived by his loving daughter, Dorothy Robinson Faut and son-in-law Roger Faut; his loving grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason Faut of Centereach; his brother, Donald Robinson and wife, Diane, of Longmont, Colorado; his brother Jack Robinson and wife Althea of Garden City; nieces Nancy Robinson Long, Lori Robinson Frease and Lisa Robinson Baske; nephews James and Kevin Robinson and 13 grand-nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was offered for the repose of his soul Monday, Oct. 1, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Centereach.
