According to Deputy Mayor John Mauk, chair of the Mayor's Committee on St. Paul's, the public presentation of the Mayor's Committee on St. Paul's is definitely set for Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Garden City Middle School auditorium.

The focus of the presentation will be the consultant's (K. Backus & Associates) analysis of the RFP proposals (as modified) from the two remaining finalists (AvalonBay and the Canus Corporation/Committee to Save St. Paul's), which underlies the decision by the Mayor's Committee on St. Paul's (and ratified by the Board of Trustees) to conditionally designate AvalonBay as the sole firm with which the village board is going to negotiate further in hopes of achieving a final, acceptable development plan for the St. Paul's Main Building, Mauk continued.

AvalonBay is not expected to be in attendance that evening to make a presentation of their proposal.
