At approximately 6:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, Garden City police officers and detectives responded to a Wickham Road residence for a reported robbery.

According to Garden City police and Nassau County Third Precinct detectives, three subjects described as male Hispanics - masked and one armed with a handgun - approached a male victim outside his home. The subjects allegedly forced the victim back inside the home, tied up a female occupant and stole an undetermined amount of money. No injures were reported, according to police. All three subjects, police said, fled the scene in a dark grey-colored auto northbound on Wickham Road.

Nassau County detectives and Garden City police are continuing to investigate the incident. Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
