To register for any of these sessions, come to the recreation office in village hall. A tennis pro will then set up lessons on the courts with people with like abilities. Participants will be emailed or called with his/her lesson assignment.
If you reside in Garden City, are 18 and older and would like to play softball in one of the recreation department's softball leagues, call 465-4075 to put your name on the player list. The department sometimes has coaches who are looking for extra players to round out their rosters. Call and leave your name, age, address and phone number and the department will keep your information on file for the team who is looking for players.
With the spring sports season upon us, the recreation department would like residents to know that, although the recreation department allows the various volunteer organizations to use the village field space, it does not run any of the spring programs.
