Open registration has begun for ice skating classes at Cantiague Park's beautiful indoor ice skating rink.

Classes will begin on Dec.11, and will be formed with a minimum of four students and a maximum of 10 students per class. The program consists of eight half-hour lessons. Lessons will be offered on Mondays and Fridays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuition will be $90 for children and $115 for adults. Registration will be ongoing at the Cantiague Rink seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Leisure Passports are required to register for ice skating lessons. Those under 13 years of age may use a parent's Leisure Passport number.

Private lessons are also available during public sessions. Registration for private lessons continues on a daily basis, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The private lesson fee is $32.50 per half-hour lesson, plus rink admission.

Ice rink fees are $5.50 for adults with Leisure Passports and $3.50 for children with Leisure Passports. For patrons without Leisure Passports, the fees are $12 for adults and $8 for children. Seniors, persons with disabilities, veterans and volunteer firefighters with Leisure Passports will be charged $3. Skate rentals are $4 for each session. Birthday parties may also be arranged during public sessions.
