The Garden City Hotel tradition of its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony continues Monday, Nov. 27, beginning at 5:30 p.m. For more than 20 years, Garden City and the surrounding communities have ushered in the holiday season by joining together at The Garden City Hotel for a very special event - the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony - to share the holiday cheer, festive caroling, a winter wonderland complete with Santa Claus and his elves, and the ceremonial lighting of the hotel's spectacular tree.

The recreation department offers adult tennis lessons in 10-week sessions. Lessons are open to all adults who reside in Garden City and are offered at various times during the day and on the weekends.
