This Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Seventh Street, the Garden City Chamber of Commerce will present Garden City's 25th annual Fall Festival Street Fair. The event, in conjunction with Garden City High School's Homecoming Day Parade, to step off at 1 p.m., will feature sidewalk sales, fabulous food, special events and a raft of games and activities for the youngsters. The recreation department's adult swim program began Monday, Oct. 16 at Adelphi's indoor pool located in Woodruff Hall. This free program is open to any adult resident of the village ages 18 or older.
