Margaret A. Shea of New Hyde Park passed away Saturday, Oct. 7. The beloved wife of William Shea for 40 years, the devoted mother of Betsy (Rocco) Citeno, Kevin Shea, Loretta (Richard) Hall, William (Joyce) Shea and Elena (Michael) Wilson, and loving grandmother of 12.

Mrs. Shea served as a medical assistant to Dr. Marc Behar in Garden City for the past 11 years and will be deeply missed. "She was someone I've worked with day in and day out. She was a wonderful, caring individual and was loved by all our patients and I'll miss her dearly," Dr. Behar said.

A wake was held at Krauss Funeral Home in Franklin Square on Oct. 10. A funeral Mass took place on Oct. 11 with cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Shea's memory can be sent to your local animal shelter.
