The Village Music Makers big band ... two trackless trains carrying up to 28 happy youngsters on rides up and down Seventh Street ... the traditional moon bounce ... money cube ... caterpillar climb-through ... loads of carnival games ... karaoke ... a street full of sidewalk sales and exhibits ... fabulous food ... plus decorative corn stalks provided by many businesses are all among the features returning for the Garden City Chamber of Commerce's 28th annual Fall Festival Street Fair Saturday, Oct. 28, between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Seventh Street between Franklin and Hilton Avenues.

Committee to Save St. Paul's Schedules Community Presentation for October 24
The Committee to Save St. Paul's will present its proposal for the redevelopment of the Historic St. Paul's Main Building to the community Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the Garden City Middle School auditorium.

Garden City Recreation Department News
The recreation department's adult swim program began Monday, Oct. 16 at Adelphi's indoor pool located in Woodruff Hall. This free program is open to any adult resident of the village ages 18 or older. The pool is open for lap swimming on Mondays through Thursdays in one-hour time blocks at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
