Well, it's official. The Senior Center at St. Paul's has opened to the delight of village officials and senior residents alike. Garden City Mayor Gerard Lundquist cut the ribbon Aug. 24 and flocks of senior residents joined in the celebration.

Adult Art Classes at Cluett Hall --
Due to popular demand, the Garden City Recreation Department will again offer an adult pastel class taught by Arleen Ruth Urban. This class is open to adult residents of Garden City. The class will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays beginning Sept. 8. The classes will be held at Cluett Hall at St. Paul's. The cost of the 10-week program will be $105.
