As the summer comes to a close, many parents will be searching for child care providers in their area. Senator Kemp Hannon has placed a link to search for licensed day care providers on his website, www.kemphannon.com.

Those interested should click on "Finding Child Care" under the

Services heading located on the left side of the website. This will link them to the New York State Office of Children and Families, where parents can conduct a day care facility search.

"As a parent, I know issues like finding the right person to provide child care is a major concern. That is why I am pleased to offer parents this free tool on my website to make their search a little easier," Senator Hannon said.

If anyone has questions or concerns regarding child care, they can call Senator Hannon's community office at 739-1700. Senator Hannon will be hosting a Family Health and Safety Expo, Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Island Trees Middle School in Levittown.
