Superintendent of Schools Dr. Robert Feirsen recently announced that Garden City has been designated a Gold Medal School District by Expansion Management Magazine in its 14th annual Education Quotient issue. SAIL (Seniors Acting In Love), a senior ministry at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Garden City, holds a senior exercise class that meets twice a week in the church's parish hall.
