A Basketball Championship Returns to Waldorf School
For the first time in 20 years, a basketball championship has returned to the Waldorf School of Garden City. Led by junior co-captains Christopher Smalley of Garden City and Michael Butigian, along with freshman point guard Daniel Lindsay, Waldorf posted an impressive regular season record of 18-5, which includes only one loss in IPPSAL league play.

Garden City Centennial Soccer Club News
Late registrations are now being accepted for the Centennial Spring Soccer Program. Registration is being accepted based on space and availability and is subject to a $25 late fee. The Garden City Centennial Soccer Club will be opening its spring season Saturday, April 8. Girls' games are scheduled for 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Boys play in the afternoons from 1 to 4 p.m.

Garden City Recreation Department News
The recreation department is now accepting team application packages for its upcoming spring businessmen's softball league. Packages can be obtained from the recreation department in village hall. Rosters will be accepted from the first 16 teams meeting the following criteria: business located within the Village of Garden City; teams comprised of residents of the Village of Garden City; and teams comprised of employees of the Village of Garden City.
