Residents will get an update from hired consultant Backus & Associates, Inc. on a project feasibility study for St. Paul's at the next board of trustees meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 15, according to Mayor Gerard Lundquist.

The mayor's committee who unanimously chose Backus & Associates, Inc. to undertake the charge is comprised of Deputy Mayor John Mauk (chairman), Deputy Mayor Peter Bee, Trustee Thomas Lamberti and several Garden City residents.

Backus & Associates, Inc. researched the possibility of redeveloping the historic Main Building - within the existing envelope - for restoration, reconstruction and redevelopment by private developers for possible reuse as a "high-end residential facility."
