Families throughout the Sixth Senate District recently enjoyed the fourth annual Family Health & Safety Fair, sponsored by Senator Kemp Hannon. The event offered a variety of interactive exhibits for parents and children to learn how to nurture and protect themselves.

Local children were entertained at Senator Hannon's 2005 Family Fun Day with a host of activities, including a New York Dragons football toss and a New York State Senate coloring mural highlighting official New York State symbols such as the state fruit, apples; the state tree, the sugar maple; the state flower, the rose; and the state bird, the bluebird.
