The Salvation Army's 24th annual children's summer camp benefit concert held at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City May 11 exceeded its goal of $30,000 as well as nearly filling the Cathedral. We were successful because individuals and businesses supported the Army with their wallets and attendance. The success of this concert enables the Army to send 100 children or more from Nassau County to the Salvation Army's Star Lake Camp this summer. On behalf of the children that will enjoy Star Lake Camp, thanks!

Gerald Johns

Director, the Salvation Army, Nassau County
