Earlier this year, 16 local business owners and managers who use Parking Field 7S forwarded a petition to the board of trustees suggesting that the dumpsters and grease barrels be permanently removed and replaced with a community compactor and grease receptacle.

The recreation department's annual Pepsi-Pitch, Hit and Run skills competition will be held at Grove Park this Thursday, May 5, at Grove Park. Start time will be 4 p.m. Children aged 7-14 who reside in the village are invited to participate.
