At a press conference Jan. 18, Nassau County District Attorney (DA) Denis Dillon and Harvey Levinson, chairman of the Nassau County Board of Assessors, announced plans to utilize the prosecutorial and investigative resources of the DA's office to assist Nassau County's town and city governments in the prosecution of illegal housing.

GCHS Athlete Nominated for All-American Basketball Team
Ninety-one New York, New Jersey and Connecticut girls and boys high school basketball players have been recognized as nominees for the annual McDonald's All-American High School Girls and Boys Basketball Teams. This year marks the 28th anniversary of the boys' McDonald's All-American game and the fourth annual girls' game.

Recreation Department News
The recreation department will present a family concert by singer/songwriter Anna Epstein Kravis this Sunday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. Kravis, with over 25 years of musical experience, will brighten up the winter day with songs of winter fun! This show will take place in Cluett Hall. The concert is free but reservations are necessary. Call the recreation office at 465-4075 for information or to make a reservation.
