The Garden City Recreation Department will be sponsoring a new fall concert mini series. Two concerts will take place in front of 1001 Franklin Avenue. These concerts will take place from noon-1:30 p.m. on the following Friday afternoons: Friday, Sept. 10, when The Gary Reynolds Swing Orchestra will perform, and Friday, Sept. 24, when "Time Was" will entertain lunch crowds.

This Friday, Sept. 10, the Gary Reynolds Swing Orchestra will serenade residents and businesses with sounds from the 40s through today. Please join the recreation department in listening to this orchestra as you take a break and enjoy lunch "Outside on Franklin." The recreation department wishes to thank Garden City Center Associates for making their property available for these concerts.
