The Garden City third grade Lady Rams lacrosse team, led by Coaches Shannon, Jahelka and Coleman, continued their winning ways with an 8-6 road victory over a tough Northport 3-1-1 squad.

The victory was highlighted by the suburb play of Olivia Zimmer and Erin Vierengel in goal, with Olivia preserving the victory with seven second half saves.

The Lady Rams were led by a balanced offensive attack with goals by Carly Knowles (three goals), Jacqueline Jahelka (two goals) and solo tallies by Olivia Zimmer, Haley Shannon and Lauren Coleman.

Strong defensive and key ground-ball play was provided by Taylor Pappas, Kellie Kubler, Meredith Johnson, Lara Haran, Caroline DelBello, Krista Dampman, Marie Cristoforo, Charlotte Castranova, Louisa Boliver and Emily Betts.

The Lady Rams raised their record to 3-1-1 with their third consecutive victory.
