State Senator Kemp Hannon will be featured on Cablevision's "Meet the Leaders" television program, on Channel 18, throughout May. The public is encouraged to tune in as Senator Hannon discusses with host Pat Halpin an important bully reduction/anti-violence program in local schools, senior issues and other matters significant to New York State.

"I encourage all educators and everyone concerned about our children's well-being to watch Meet the Leaders and learn more about the BRAVE-Bully Reduction/Anti-violence Education program. With the use of class exercises and discussions, BRAVE is designed to reduce incidents of bullying and harassment and create safe school environments for the benefit of all," Senator Hannon said.

During "Meet the Leaders," Senator Hannon also informs viewers about state priorities such as addressing the 2004-05 fiscal state budget, meeting seniors' long-term care needs and a specific initiative in Garden City to help senior citizens remain independent and still connected to community life.
