Garden City Centennials is accepting applications for the 2004 spring season. This program is open to all girls in grades pre-K-12 and boys in grades pre-K-6. The pre-K program is open to any child who will be attending kindergarten in the fall.

The deadline for registration was Jan. 31. Applications now received are subject to a $25 late fee and will be accepted only if space permits. Registration forms can be picked up at St. Paul's, the recreation department in village hall or at www.gccentennialsoccer.org.

Garden City Centennials will again be sponsoring a LIJSL "C" license coaching course. This course will be held on four consecutive Thursdays starting April 15. The sessions will be held in the middle school boy's gym and will run from 7-10 p.m.

The "C" course is a great course for those who are coaching children at any age. It teaches the fundamentals of soccer as well as providing tips and techniques for teaching young children.

There is no fee involved for any person currently coaching (or will be in spring 2004) in the Garden City Centennial soccer program. Any other persons interested are welcome but a fee will be charged. For more information or to register, email Larry Zarou at zarla01@cbits.com.
