We would like to thank all those individuals who helped us make Jump Start a success with their generosity and patience. Thank you all for donating to and helping the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center. We appreciate your help in making the Nov. 29 basketball tournament a huge success.

We learned a great deal from the event and we could not have done it without each and every one of you. Because of all of your generosity we have saved lives and made families more comfortable during a difficult time in their lives. We raised over $9,000 and we thank all of the volunteers and participants.

Many of you have contacted us with your comments and suggestions and we thank you. Please continue to let us know what you thought by writing to jumpstartonlife@aol.com. There are many things that went well and there are some things that need to be revised for next year's event. We promise that with your help we will make next year's event more enjoyable for you, your family and friends as we continue to provide a jump-start for premature and sick newborn babies.
