The Garden City Life got word last week, after the Oct. 9 issue went to print, that the St. Paul's public forum, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 22, has been pushed up to November.
Mayor Barbara Miller has announced that after consideration of input provided by the board of trustees and residents, the village board's public forum on uses for the Main Building at St. Paul's will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. in the Garden City Middle School auditorium.
The forum will address both public and private uses and solicit public input. If necessary, the forum will be continued on another evening.
The Public P-Zone Committee will be conducting a forum for the property owners' associations (POAs) and interested residents on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. in the Garden City High School cafeteria. Committee Chairman Trustee Peter Bee noted that while the Public P-Zone Committee is anxious to make recommendations to the village board on the consultants' reports, it wants to obtain further input from the POAs and interested residents first.
