The Garden City Athletic Club will again sponsor travel basketball teams this season for girls in 5-12 grade and for boys in 8-12 grade. Younger grades for boys are asked and encouraged to register with the Garden City Athletic Association - information on their program may be obtained via www.gc-aa.com.

Any Garden City resident who wishes to participate in the Island Garden 2003-2004 basketball season is asked to call Tony Colantonio (248-8525). Registration will continue through October and information on the league may be obtained at www.islandgarden.com.

The Garden City Athletic Club will provide insurance coverage. Practice schedules will be offered at the St. Paul's Field House at no charge. The Garden City Athletic Club will be assigned practice time at the Field House according to the number of participants in the program, so all Garden City teams in any age group who are not registered with the GCAA should contact Colantonio at 248-8525. Registration from already formed teams and individual registrants are being accepted. Please call for further information.
