Have you ever wondered how to make decisions that are in a child's best interest rather than go along with the crowd? Or have you ever wondered how to separate consequences from punishment? How does a parent answer tough questions from kids, such as "Why can't I (fill in the blank), everyone else gets to." "If you loved me you would trust me enough to make my own decisions about (fill in the blank)."
Come and hear the suggestions to these tough questions that all parents have! Parents of all children please mark your calendars and plan to attend this very informative evening, sponsored by the Garden City Community Council for Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention. If you have any questions, please contact Lori Kuster, Garden City High School social worker, at 478-2617.
