The Garden City Recreation Department will be sponsoring a Performance Paddle Camp (PPC). The camp will be offering unique intensive six-hour and three-hour instruction sessions designed to improve your basic skills and gain insight into the strategy of the game of platform tennis. PPC is run by nationally ranked and certified paddle instructors Gerri Viant and Mike Gillespie. Gerri and Mike have been offering their camps for over five years from Chicago to Nantucket. They provide a thoroughly professional and enthusiastic camp that can train you in areas that are required for you to become a competitive paddle player.

The camps will be held at Community Park in three sessions:

Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 22 and 23 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. $165

Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 22 and 23 noon to 3 p.m. $165

Monday, Sept. 22 7 to 10 p.m. $100

Per person includes T-Shirt, player's manual and prizes.
