(Editor's Note: The Garden City Life received this letter and felt it should be shared with readers since many of you food-shop at Kings on Franklin Avenue.)

I am pleased to announce that Marks & Spencer will keep Kings as part of its family. The only changes that will occur will be for the better.

I want you to know how difficult this waiting period has been for our associates who have performed with excellence and provided you with the best service possible. I also want to assure you that we can and will do better in the weeks and months ahead.

The Dear Kings letter writing campaign from our customers has been helpful in recognizing our best associates as well as telling us where we need to improve. We are dedicated to making your food shopping experience the best you will find anywhere.

Please write to me and let me know how we are doing.

Alan Levitan
