It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve as your mayor for the past two years. After 11 years on the village board of trustees, there are numerous persons I wish to thank. Let me first start with my family for their sacrifices and support over the past 11 years. Secondly, our excellent village staff, led by village administrator Robert Schoelle, for all their hard work and caring for our village. I also wish to thank my fellow trustees for their dedication and their support. I wish to thank the property owners' associations and the Chamber of Commerce for their many years of assistance. I would also like to thank you, the residents, for making Garden City a truly special place to live in.

Congratulations to Mayor-elect Miller, I know she will do a great job. Thank you again for the honor of serving you.
