More than 2,500 students, 1,000 parents and 250 school personnel in grades 4-12 were recently surveyed to learn the extent of drug and alcohol use and violence in the village. PRIDE, Inc., a national drug prevention organization, developed the questionnaire used in the survey. FULL STORY

The Garden City Athletic Club will continue their indoor winter practices/clinics during March in preparation for the spring travel baseball season. The sessions are open to all eight- and nine-year-old players who are residents of Garden City. The two remaining dates are Monday, March 17 and Monday, March 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the St. Paul's Fieldhouse. Participation is free.
