I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who took the time to vote on Election Day. I am especially proud to once again have the opportunity to serve as your representative in the New York State Senate.

During my tenure as senator, I have enjoyed walking door to door, getting the chance to meet residents. I have been able to get to know community leaders and officers of civic groups. I am grateful for the support you have given me and look forward to returning to Albany as your state senator. I will continue to work for your schools, businesses and families. As we approach the end of 2002, I wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.
