A Community Remembers, A Nation Mourns
As the one-year anniversary of September 11, 2001 fell upon a nation last Wednesday, a memorial service at the gazebo enabled residents to remember those who died and the heroes who perished trying to save them on that morning that turned America upside down.

Centennial Soccer News
The Garden City Centennial fall program for girls' intramural soccer began the weekend of Sept. 14-15 and will run through the weekend of November 9-10. Play will be every weekend except for Columbus Day weekend (Oct. 12-13). The Centennials are still accepting applications although the deadline has passed. All applications will be accepted subject to availability and must include a $25 late fee. Call the appropriate division leader listed below with any questions.

The Garden City Community Park Tennis Facility is now closed in order to get the courts ready for the contract season. The facility will reopen on Sunday, Sept. 22. All seasonal contracts will begin that week.
