I am responding to the slanderous attacks made against Trustee Barbara Miller in last week's edition of the Garden City News. My wife and I have been welcomed to her home for many events and we have never seen her use the village property next to her home for her personal use. That statement was outrageous and slanderous.

I have had the pleasure of working with Barbara as vice president of the CPOA (Central Property Owners Association) when she was president. During this time I observed a professional whose honesty and straightforwardness has always been a priority with her family, colleagues and our village. Barbara is an example of a resident, volunteer and friend whose service, dedication and loyalty separates our community from many others.

In the best interest of the residents and the village, let's stop the attacks and deal with the issues at hand.
