Martin Post Smith, formerly of Garden City, died on June 11, 2002. He was a Lt.j.g. in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. An educator for 32 years, he was a founding member of the Lake George Antique Boat Museum and the Saratoga Automobile Museum. He was a member and past president of the Freeport Rotary Club. Husband of Doris W.B. Smith. Father of Deborah A.P. Snyder, Martin P. Smith Jr. and Henry Heller Smith. Grandfather of Alyssa Mae Post Snyder. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Chapel, Garden City. Religious service at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. Interment Greenfield Cemetery. Anne R. McInerney, of Stuart, FL, formerly of Garden City, died on June 11, 2002. Wife of Vincent H. Mother of Thomas, James and the late Michael. Grandmother of Mark and Jill. Brother of James E. Mulvaney. A memorial service will be held in Stuart.
