Just after 7:30 a.m. Easter Sunday morning, March 31, a train coming into the Nassau Blvd. station struck a 65-year-old Garden City man who was originally standing on the westbound platform. According to Garden City police reports, the investigation is continuing regarding this possible suicide. The Nassau County Homicide Squad as well as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) police are also on the case.
