The prep jersey of Garden City High School standout athlete and University of Virginia freshman Bethany LeSueur is currently displayed in the Ring of Honor at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, located in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Ring of Honor recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of high school and collegiate All Americans. LeSueur is in an exclusive group of 120 young women from across the country to have their jerseys currently displayed at the Hall of Fame.
The Virginia University freshman's accomplishments include: two-time New York Gatorade Player of the Year, a 2000-01 New York Miss Basketball, USA Today All American and a Street & Smith All-American.
The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame is the world's only hall of fame dedicated solely to the athletic achievements of women. Visitors are treated to such exhibits as a riveting video showcasing the history of the women's game, memorabilia from more than 100 years of basketball, inspirational halftime speeches from legendary coaches, a number of interactive exhibits and an opportunity for visitors to showcase their talents. Whether a basketball fan or not, the Hall of Fame serves as an extraordinary place of achievement as it comes to life with the stories of those who, just like LeSueur, have given their hearts and souls to the game.

Senior forward Kelly Arthurs pulled down a game-high 15 boards along with nine points. "It was a total team effort," Head Coach Kim Barnes-Arico said. "Kelly was a phenomenal rebounder for us and hit key shots when we needed her. I am so proud of this team. Our next challenge is the NCAA Regionals."
