LI Children's Museum Moving to Mitchel Field
The Long Island Children's Museum (LICM) officially closed its Stewart Avenue location Oct. 28. The museum will relocate to a larger site at the converted airplane hangar at the Museums at Mitchel Field in Garden City, where it will share the complex with Nunley's Carousel, Cradle of Aviation Museum and the Leroy & Rose Grumman IMAX Dome Theater, among others.

Recreation Department News
Applications are now available for the 24th annual Turkey Trot Race, which will be held on Thanksgiving Day. Anyone who registered for last year's race will be receiving an application in the mail. Additional forms are available at the Recreation Department in Village Hall, Community Hall, Garden City Library and Cluett Hall. Call 358-1012 for further information about the race.
