For the record, Sears, Roebuck and Co., located at 1111 Franklin Avenue in Garden City, is not closing its operations. On Tuesday, Oct. 16, the Garden City varsity field hockey team had yet another successful game. Garden City defeated Cold Spring Harbor with a final score of 4-0. Brittany Barnet contributed three goals, Erin Daly one. Both of Garden City's goalies, Amie Roe and Caitlin O'Brien, had no saves due to the team's strong offense. The Trojans kept the Cold Spring Harbor goalie busy; having to save 15 shots. This game was triumphant for Barnet. In addition to scoring three goals she also had her second hat trick of the season.
