All residents should be aware that taxi service provided within the Village of Garden City is regulated and licensed by the Board of Trustees.
The taxi fare for travel within the Village ranges from between $2.50 and $3.50. Additional fees will be charged for additional passengers. A taxi fare schedule and Village map are posted within each taxi.

On Thursday, Aug. 2, the Recreation Department will be presenting Tom Wagner and the Village Music Makers, always a gazebo favorite, featuring great popular standards.
The program, which will be held at the Garden City Village Gazebo located at the corner of Hilton and Stewart Avenues, will begin at 7:15 p.m. Admission is free. Please bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a very pleasant evening. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Cluett Hall at the St. Paul's School.
